Our RFID/Transponder System consists of proven frequencies and hardware that is made for outdoor extreme environments. The Transponder/TAG is a dual radio system; the main radio operates a "beacon signal" to transmit the ID of the TAG, the other is a low frequency "Loop" detection frequency which allows us to define a very accurate start/finish line. Once a tag crosses this invisible line, the TAG sends out a signal over the main frequency to the reader system which is then sent to the scoring system. As a registered TAG crosses the finish line a signal is sent to a industrial buzzer for an audible verification. This signal is sent through a standard USB connection from the scoring PC.

Loop System
The "loop" is a piece of 2 wire 16 ga weatherproof wire that can
be buried in the ground, or place overhead in a gate style mount.

 

Tansponder/TAG
The TAG carries a 2 year warranty and requires no charging.

 

Buzzer
The buzzer has a digital USB interface and can output a signal up to 112 dBi
